Living and working in Dubai
Herbert Smith LLP Dubai is located in the impressive Dubai International Financial Centre. We have an enviable position south of the old city centre, between the Dubai Creek, Jumeira Beach and Internet City resorts.

The working week generally starts on Sunday and ends on Thursday with a two-day weekend.

The majority of people living and working in Dubai enjoy a high standard of living, tax-free income, great weather for most of the year and a wide range of social, healthcare, and educational services.

Individuals can choose from a wide range of accommodation, from sea view apartments at the Dubai marina, to luxury villa compounds, and modern cutting edge real estate next to the iconic Burj Dubai, or in the Dubai International Financial Centre itself.

Alcohol is available in Dubai’s licensed hotels, where the vast majority of bars and clubs are located.

Social and cultural attractions
You can experience many social and cultural attractions in Dubai. The city boasts some of the most luxurious hotels in the world, notably the world-famous Burj Al Arab. There is also a wide range of restaurants, bars and clubs, as well as great beaches.

Dubai is renowned for its shopping, with luxurious malls that are home to famous brands and even a Ski Slope. With the world’s biggest mall, the Dubai Mall, Dubai is closer to becoming one of the world’s shopping capitals.

One can experience Dubai’s more traditional culture through desert adventures or just visiting the authentic local Souqs.
