"I studied Chemistry before choosing Herbert Smith for a career in Law. I have since enjoyed a culture that’s friendly, open and encourages individuality. Flexible working is also encouraged and the firm will do what it can to accommodate employees' needs and requirements. I currently work three days a week as a job share. Herbert Smith has been extremely accommodating in making this arrangement work successfully, both for the firm and the clients.

If I had to choose one highlight of my 14 years at Herbert Smith it would be the redevelopment of the Bull Ring Shopping Centre in Birmingham. We acted on the acquisition and development of the old Bull Ring site in a five year process. I was involved in all aspects of the development including site assembly, planning, road closures, CPO inquiry and pre-lets. Seeing the new Bull Ring in all its glory and knowing I've been involved in all aspects of the redevelopment made all the very early morning train trips to Birmingham worthwhile."
